General Function: Daily cleaning of all defined Surgical Service areas. Linen handling, equipment and patient transfer, stocking supplies, maintaining inventory, patient and lab specimen transport. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with policy and procedures.

Experience Requirements:

• One-year experience in cleaning or janitorial work.
• Preferred – OR/OB cleaning housekeeping experience.

Special Requirements:

• Ability to read and follow instructions verbal and written. 
• Understand visual aids. 
• Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals.
