General Function- Works under the direct supervision of the pharmacist at all times. Responsible for reading, interpreting and recording physician drug orders, and distribution of drugs throughout the hospital

3. 2. Experience Requirements: Basic typing and computer skills
4. 3. Special Requirements: Current certification with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician

3. 1. High levels of stress likely due to multi-tasking and customer relations.
   2. Work requires extended standing, mobility and lifting of boxes.
   3. Working with antineoplastic agents / carcinogenic chemicals/hazardous drugs (limited to unpacking and stocking hazardous agents and transporting prepared products within the hospital or retail setting).
