Development of the exercise component of wellness, which includes, fitness evaluations, exercise prescriptions, and programming.  Maintains the fitness equipment, facility, and supervises the facility in the absence of the managers.  Assists in the coordination, promotion, and implementation of all wellness programs and in the daily operations of the center.  Implements and maintains the Fit Trac system.

Educational Requirements:

• Required:  B.S. Degree in health related field – Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, or Human Performance.
• Desired:  American College of Sports Medicine – Health/Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer certification and/or NASM certification.

Special Requirements:

• Basic Life Support  -- Course C  and Standard First Aid

Experience Requirements:

• Two years of wellness, fitness, or physical education experience is desired.
